About the Pastor

Pastor-Rev. Corian Roberson

Pastor Corian (Cory) Roberson was born in Augusta, Georgia to Ann Torrence-Hester and Carlos Roberson, he is a native of Millen, Ga.  During his childhood he traveled as a “military brat”, during his travels as a Military dependent, serving as a member of various youth ministries which help to guide his calling into ministry. After their military tours ended, with his mom and two younger brothers, the family relocated to his mom’s birthplace of Statesboro, Ga.
At an early age, he gave his life to Christ and was baptized at Zion Baptist Church in Millen, Ga.  Corian Roberson accepted the call to the gospel ministry at the tender age of 16, he was appointed as a Junior Deacon at Divine Deliverance Worship Center in Statesboro, Ga.
In June of 2006 he was ordained a Minister, under their leadership, Minister Roberson received diverse mentorship in serving others in ministry, and etiquettes in ministering the Word of God.

While in Statesboro, he attended and graduated from Statesboro High School in 2006, He attend Fort Valley State University on a scholarship, but later transferred to Brewton Parker College and graduated in 2013, earning a B.A Degree in Middle Grades Education with a minor in Christian Studies. Corian graduated from Georgia Southern University in 2017 with a Master’s in Education.  He currently teaches 5th grade math and science at Ridge Road Elementary.
While attending Fort Valley State University, Corian met Befaney (King) Roberson, and on June 11, 2007, Corian and Befaney united in holy matrimony.  They are proud parents of three beautiful children: Corian Jr., Taylor, & Daniel. He enjoys traveling and spending quality time with his family, as he believes ministry starts at home first. In his spare time, you can find him hobby farming, officiating high school, collegiate basketball and football games.Corian Roberson was licensed a Minister at St. James Christian Fellowship in December of 2011 under the leadership of his mentor, Pastor Mack Jackson.  He was later appointed as the Youth Minister of St. James Christian Fellowship in January 2012.

Compassionate and visionary who cares deeply for God’s people Pastor Corian Roberson is Called and Chosen to Preach the Good News of Jesus Christ to the Lost, Broken in Spirit, and Proclaim Liberty to the captives. In January 2020, Corian Roberson was called to become the Pastor of Mount Olive Baptist Church.

Recognized for his extraordinary (teaching style) way to connect with God’s people, Pastor Corian Roberson is called to Encourage believers with great patience and careful teaching.  He answered the mandate with a Humble Yes, knowing that God called and chosen him from birth.
 
His favorite scripture is Jeremiah 29:11 – For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

Pastor Roberson believes God is calling his church back to its rightful place of loving others unconditionally, teaching the Word of God, and living according to God’s Word.

Pastor Roberson is currently the Senior Pastor of Mount Olive Baptist Church in Warthen, GA.
